Braided Channels: Opportunities in River Careers - Answers about river-related work on public lands

In partnership with the USFS, RMS is hosting a virtual discussion series for current, prospective, and alumni RSLC students, or any one looking to begin a river-related career from Sept. to Dec 2021.

The first virtual discussion, "Answers about river-related work on public lands" will be on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 3-4pm ET, and will feature a Q&A discussion with Colter Pence and David Cernicek, who both work on Wild and Scenic Rivers for the USFS. They will be answering questions about what jobs are out there and helping students better understand how to land a river-related job with a federal land management agency. Participants are encouraged to come with questions, as we are planning for an interactive Q&A session. No cost to attend, but registration is required.
