In this session, learn from hiring managers how to leverage your skills and highlight your experience to stand out from the crowd when applying for entry-level positions.

Panelists

Dave Cernicek David Cernicek lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and works as the River Manager for the Bridger-Teton National Forest overseeing the Snake River Headwaters Wild & Scenic Designation. He is a member of the Interagency Wild & Scenic Rivers Coordinating Council (IWSRCC).
Liz Townley Liz Townley is the National Wilderness and Wild & Scenic Rivers Planner for the US Forest Service. Liz has 14 years’ experience with the BLM and Forest Service working in Wilderness, Wild and Scenic Rivers and Recreation management. Her passion for rivers and all things wild can be traced back to her pre-professional days growing up along the banks of the Columbia River and years spent exploring the coastal ranges of Washington and Oregon. She is happiest with her husband Skeet, their two kids Sophia and Jones and dog Garth out exploring public lands.
Shannon Bassista Shannon Bassista works for the Bureau of Land Management as an Idaho State Lead for Trails and Travel Planning (Outdoor Recreation Planner). She has worked for Idaho BLM for 18 years in the field of Recreation Management and in her free time, Shannon enjoys whitewater rafting, hiking, and spending time in the outdoors with her family and friends.
