"We are here for you." Removing barriers to outdoor life experiencesRiver Management Roundtable
|
Chris began working with young people in St. Louis more than a decade ago through community development and program management positions with Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri and Gateway Region YMCA. Before joining River City Outdoors, he served as Rec Supervisor and Program Director for the City of St. Louis, overseeing the recreation centers and management of its pools. Among his favorite camps to host are fishing, tree climbing, archery and geocaching. Originally from New Jersey, St. Louis has been Chris’ home and his community for 50 years. He is passionate about serving his community and building access to and appreciation of nature and the outdoors. He loves to swim in the ocean, camp and fish, and one of his new favorite outdoor activities is paddling on the Mississippi. In addition, he is part of the leadership team behind the Tower Grove Farmers Market and feels very strongly that everyone should have access to local, healthy, sustainable food sources. |
River Management Roundtables are open to both RMS members and non-members. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required! We share recordings from our Roundtables, so even if you can't make it, you can register to receive the recording and links. You can access this recording as well as dozens of previous Roundtables, webinars and workshops in our River Training Channel.
About RMS River Management Roundtables
Each month, the River Management Society hosts virtual conversations with professional river, greenway, and water trails leaders, planners, and managers whose community, region, state and federal river will benefit from the experiences of peer-to-peer sharing. Our goal is to facilitate an open forum to support your work managing rivers. We work together to tackle common issues by asking questions, sharing solutions and building comradery.
