Support River Professionals This Giving Season

Since 1996, River Management Society staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to support the professionals who study, protect and manage North America's rivers. Over the last two years, RMS membership has reached record highs, driven by a demand for tools, training, and opportunities to collaborate.

In the midst of budget cuts, extreme weather, and rising visitor use, our mission is more important than ever, and and we are relying on your support as we have not since our founding.

Here’s what your support helped us accomplish this year:

1,200+ river professionals participated in training workshops and regional events.
43,000+ visitors visited the National Rivers Project website, which introduces river visitors to recreational segments and their stewards.
9 students earned the River Studies and Leadership Certificate, preparing to lead the next generation of river professionals.

With your help, we’ll continue to provide affordable training, resources, and networking opportunities for current and aspiring river professionals.
