A-DASH Collaborative 

Sexual harassment prevention, mitigation and reporting on rivers

In 2019, concerned guides and river enthusiasts started asking how they could work together to improve workplace culture on our rivers. The discussion began at the America Outdoors Conference and led to led to the creation of the A-DASH Collaborative, which stands for “Anti-Discrimination and Sexual Harassment.”

Collaborative members represent all facets of the river community: outfitters, federal agencies that manage rivers, guides, and private boaters. Together with their trainers, they’ve developed sexual harassment training specifically for river-based staff and management. Members of our RMS team are proud to be actively involved with A-DASH and endorse the A-DASH trainings for  agencies, outfitters, and others.
