Doug WhittakerDoug Whittaker, PhD. has 35 years of experience working on natural r esource issues as an outdoor recreation planner with the Bureau of Land Man agement and National Park Service or as a researcher/ consultant. He has p ublished dozens of reports and journal articles, and has made presentations at symposia and conferences across the country. His work is focused on in stream flows for recreation, navigability, capacities in recreation setting s, crowding, use conflicts, and attitudes toward urban wildlife. Dr. Whitt aker has a PhD. in human dimensions of natural resources from Colorado Stat e University. He is based in Anchorage, Alaska. |
