New Best Practices

River Management Roundtable
Sep. 14, 2021 | 3:30 - 4:30 EST
Watch the Recording

We wondered if all the new river users would come back this year, and they did! Most of us are working with the same amount of resources, so how were you able to accommodate them? What new best practices did you put in place that you will continue? Join RMS and member David Cernicek (Wild and Scenic River Coordinator with USFS in Bridger-Teton National Forest) as we learn how river managers have creatively adapted new best practices over the last couple of years. Please be prepared to share what you thought would change but didn’t; what you thought wouldn’t change but did; surprise successes, and any new sources of volunteer assistance or community support. River Management Roundtables are free, but registration is required.

About RMS River Management Roundtables

Each month, the River Management Society hosts virtual conversations with professional river, greenway, and water trails leaders, planners, and managers whose community, region, state and federal river will benefit from the experiences of peer-to-peer sharing. Our goal is to facilitate an open forum to support your work managing rivers. We work together to tackle common issues by asking questions, sharing solutions and building comradery.
