Guided by a presenter drawing from her own lived experience, we’ll talk about everyday interactions that shape how people experience belonging at work.

Awareness, curiosity, and accountability can help us recognize unspoken assumptions and adjust in ways that foster trust and openness. Listen to the story of one person who is navigating the environment, focused on delivering workplace goals, and viewing challenge as a growth opportunity. Attendees will leave with a few new ways to contribute to a workplace culture grounded in respect, authenticity, and everyday inclusion. 

Speaker

Logan Faircloth, Reentry Community Outreach Coordinator for Jubilee Housing in Washington, D.C. and previously: River City Outdoors Community Engagement Coordinator Logan is a community-oriented individual eager to create change and paths to justice for all. She has recognized her passion and experience in non-profit and civil rights work, especially in advocacy, community outreach, and education. Her dedication and experience working with marginalized groups has driven her determination to create change and lift others up. Logan is a graduate of Purdue University with majors in Political Science and Law & Society (Criminology) and minors in Human Rights, Environmental Policy and Politics, Women Gender & Sexuality Studies and Global Studies.

Registration

On the second Tuesday of the month, the River Management Society hosts River Management Roundtables, facilitated virtual discussions with professional river and water trails managers. These peer-to-peer conversations provide an open forum to ask questions, share solutions, and build camaraderie. There is no fee or membership requirement to attend, though registration is required. Discussions are recorded and shared with registrants.
