NWSI is a virtual training workshop that provides an evolving, integrative model for learning field-based wilderness and wild & scenic rivers knowledge, skills, and abilities for everyone.

Hosted early each field season, NWSI brings together wilderness and river rangers, managers, academia, and partner organizations to learn new skills, share experiences, and connect to grow our abilities to preserve wilderness character and the outstandingly remarkable values of rivers.
