A block of rooms
has been reserved at the Marina Inn Convention Center
located in South Sioux City , Nebraska, along the banks
of the Missouri River. In order to take full advantage
of symposium events and to maximize networking opportunities,
we encourage all participants to lodge at this first-class
facility. The Marina Inn provides a full-service,
upscale restaurant and bar, as well as a heated pool and fitness center.
(Please note: RMS will incur a penalty if the room minimum is not met.)
To
make a room reservation, call the Marina Inn Conference
Center at (800) 798-7980 or (402) 494-4000 and mention
the “RMS / MRNRC” joint
meeting to get the special guest room rate. Single occupancy
is $60 per night and double occupancy is $80 per
night. In order to get this special rate, you must make
your reservation by March 30, 2006.
If the reserved room
block has been filled, the Marina Inn will assist
guests with any additional lodging needs at pre-arranged
lodging partners. The special group rate will be honored
until the March 30 deadline. Due to the potential for
a large turnout for the meeting, we encourage early registration and room
reservation.
Directions
The Marina Inn is located at 4th and B Streets in South
Sioux City, Nebraska . Take exit 148 off I-29. Go
across the Missouri River on the Veterans Memorial
Bridge, turn left on 6th Street at the first traffic
light. Go two blocks east to B Street and turn left. Go two blocks north
to 4th and B Streets.
Airlines
If you fly into Sioux City:
The Sioux Gateway Airport
has service from Northwest Airlines to and from Minneapolis,
Minnesota. At this writing, there are six arrival and
six departure times per day. Check the website for updated
Information: www.flysiouxgateway.com.
The
Marina Inn offers shuttle service to the hotel. Other
hotels offer similar service or can help arrange a taxi
for you. If you need a rental car, there are three rental

Deadlines and Cancellation
Policy
Register by March 1, 2006, to receive
the early discount. After March 1, registrations
will be accepted on a space-available basis at the higher
registration rate. To ensure a reduced rate at the Marina
Inn, make your reservation by March 30, 2006 . Refunds
will be mailed after the Joint Meeting to those whose
written cancellations were postmarked on or before April
14, 2006 . Any cancellations postmarked after April 14,
as well as “no
shows", will not be eligible for refunds. All refunds
are subject to a $30 processing fee.
