RIVER MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP

Every other year, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Forest Service (FS), National Park Service (NPS) and Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) take turns hosting a Interagency River Management Workshop. The U.S. Forest Service hosted the 2007 workshop in Missoula, MT. The 2009 workshop was hosted by the National Park Service in Yosemite, CA and in 2011 the River Management Workshop and 30th Annual International Submerged Lands Conference (ISLMC) teamed up with support from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources.

The River Management Society is proud to be a co-sponsor of these excellent professional development and networking workshops. They are open to all current and future river professionals (not just agency personnel), address timely river management topics, and provide great networking, problem-solving and training opportunities for current and future professionals interested in rivers.

For information about this year's workshop, click here to see the program.

For workshop/conference proceedings, visit ISMLC website.
