Process: November 1 - February 1- High use lottery applications accepted. Feb.2 - Feb.28 - Applicants notified by mail whether or not they were successful. March 1 and after: Low use, low water, one-day reservations, and available high-use trips can be requested on a call-in basis only by calling 970-374-2468 Monday-Friday between 8:00 and noon Mountain Standard Time.

Costs: $15 application fee, $185 multi-day permit fee, $20 one-day permit fee, $35 over-length trip fee.

Additional Information: After paying for a permit, the permit holder will be able to change their launch date 1 day only.
