2017 River Ranger Rendezvous

Workshop on the Salmon River

 

When:  June 6th - 9th, 2017
Where:  BLM Hammer Creek Recreation Site on the Lower Salmon River

This event is a 4 day 3 night campout geared to get individuals that are responsible for the day-to-day management of our nation’s rivers together to share leadership and management ideas, and to develop professional relationships.

The first two days will focus on river management related discussion topics in camp facilitated by a number of great guest speakers. 

The final two days will be a Leave No Trace Trainer Course on an overnight rafting trip down the Lower Salmon River.

Cost:
Members:         $120
Non-Members: $150 - includes a one year RMS Associate membership

Registration is open until May 22nd and covers campground fees, the Leave No Trace Trainer Course registration book, and meals from breakfast on Tuesday, June 5th through lunch on Friday, June 9th.

Registrations will be accepted on a first come basis.  Maximum number of participants is 20.

Last day to pay and register May 22nd, 2017

Once registration has closed, details of boats, gear and menu will be determined.

Cancellation/Refund policy 

If you cancel in writing by May 22nd, 2017 a refund will be credited to your credit card after the event. Registrations cancelled after May 22nd and "no shows" will be ineligible for refunds.
